Wellcome funding opportunity webinar: Unlocking urgent climate action by making the health effects of climate change visible
Join us for an online panel discussion on Wellcome's latest funding opportunity in Climate and Health. This scheme is focused on at-risk populations and communities most impacted by climate change and provides funding for transdisciplinary teams to deliver short-term, high-impact projects, combining evidence generation and with communications and/or public engagement. Joining the panel:

- Madeleine Thomson, Head of Climate Impacts and Adaptation, Wellcome Trust
- Koko Warner, Director of IOM’s Global Data Institute https://www.iom.int/global-data-institute
- Joe Muturi, President of the SDI Network https://sdinet.org/
- Leo Barasi, Strategic Communications Manager at the European Climate Foundation https://europeanclimate.org/

This discussion will be followed by a Q&A, where you will have the opportunity to ask questions about Wellcome's upcoming funding call: "Climate Impacts Awards: Unlocking urgent climate action by making the health effects of climate change visible", which aims to make the impacts of climate change visible across a wide range of physical and mental health outcomes to drive urgent climate policy and practice change at scale.

This webinar will be recorded and uploaded to Wellcome's Youtube channel after the event.
